To be completely honest, I was meant to start this blog last year around this same time in Winter. I was a little different back then; extremely cautious, extremely doubtful, and beyond petrified. The question kept coming up: what if it’s not successful? What if it doesn’t become everything I want it to be? Well the only way I could answer these questions was through doing it, through creating this blog. I am still all those descriptors stated previously, but what makes the current me different from past me is the fact I’m taking the steps needed to see where this blog, my writing, and my dreams can go. A common theme in my passions for the future is that they all involve writing and creating. I want to write to both my heart’s content and what my brain allows me to do at one time. This is a space where I can be honest, creative, messy, reconcile with the parts of myself that are out of balance and need loving as well as healing. This space will be where I learn about the world I inhabit both within and outward, and I invite anyone on the same journey to come along with me. Or those who simply want to watch it unfold. I once read somewhere that we as human beings are simply the Universe experiencing itself (pretty sure Alan Watts said something like) This is for all the souls out there that are lost and just tryna find their footing in this chaotic yet insanely beautiful Universe. This is for me and you.
